Hello, this is a Korean in America.
Today I will like to talk about the remake of nostalgia fan favorite “Red Dawn”.

Introduction
I have seen many reviews on YouTube and other mediums saying that this is an unnecessary remake of a movie that was of its time. After seeing the movie, I cannot disagree with this view.

Today I will talk about the new James bond movie “Skyfall”.

The plot of the movie follows the main protagonist who is a one hit wonder true crime writer. He is trying to get another hit after 10 years. He moves into the house where a family was hanged and a child when missing. Then spooky stuff happens…..

The movie starts shortly after the ending of the first movie.  It is not clear how long since those events but the daughter is still in high school. The mother is now separated from her second husband opening her to rekindle her relationship with Liam Neeson.

The movie “Argo” is loosely based on the events of the 1979 Iran hostage crisis. The movie opens with the main event of the Iran hostage crisis which is the taking of the U.S. embassy. But quickly branches off into a side event in which 6 embassy employees are hiding out at the residence of the Canadian ambassador. The movie is about the attempt to fly these people out of Iran as members of a Canadian film location scouting team.

I saw this movie with Zero expectations as I didn’t know what it was about or that it was adapted from a novel.
I walked 25 minutes and bought a ticket mainly because of Emma Watson. Although I have seen all the Harry Potter movies, I was not much a fan since I could not stand the character of “Harry”. However, I have noticed Emma Watson since first movie and followed her career.
She has tried several projects since the Harry Potter movies such as “My Week with Marilyn”. While I liked her performances, she has yet to get a breakout role that would jump start her adult career. So, eager with expectation and hope, I tend to try to catch her movies at home or at the theaters. This is same reasons for seeing “Pitch Perfect” staring Anna Kendrick. I am waiting for the next female star in their 20’s.

Hello. This is a Korean in America. Today I will like to review the Korean drama”9 end 2 outs”.

Today I will like to review the Korean drama called “soldier/god of war” or etc. depending on subtitle version. The show has 50+ episodes. This review will only cover the first 15 episodes.
The show is set in ancient Korea when the Mongol horde started to conquer the world.
The story follows a guy who is born to slavery and his rise through martial virtue shown in the arena.
If the plot sound familiar, you would be right. It is highly influenced by the movie “gladiator”.

Hello. This is a Korean in America. Today I’m reviewing a Korean show called “Brain” which is a medical drama.

Hello, this is a Korean in America.
In a previous video, I review the first 10 episodes of the Korean drama “Innocent man”.
Since the show has ended about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I would like to take the opportunity to review the remaining 10 episodes.

Hello, This is a Korean In America. Today, I would like to talk about a new Korean drama. In Korean, the show is called “차칸남자“ .  It has been translated as either “Innocent man” or “Nice guy” in English. This is a decent translation. But I do feel that some cultural nuances are lost.
