"It’s Okay, It’s Love" Review by [Musings of a Chunkeemonkeeato] & My thoughts

people either really love the drama or really hate it...The thing that I really love about the romance is that it feels like a relatable, modern romance. There are no chaebols. There is no makeover for the heroine. It’s not overly gimmicky. The way these two people meet and fall in love feels natural....There are a lot beautiful nuggets of logic, wisdom and heart to find in this drama.

My Thoughts
I have only seen 2 episodes of the show.  The whole sloppy metal care aspect and the forced living together plot line did piss me off. However, it was not the worst Korean drama I had ever seen at the time. That this has been growing over the past two years or so and does not include "It’s Okay, It’s Love".

"It’s Okay, It’s Love" is just a show I had no further interest to spend more of my time towards. Also it did not help that I was preparing to transition back to Korea and had no time.

That is myopinion about the show. Now, I'll talk about article itself. Musings of a Chunkeemonkeeato is one of the blogs I respect overall. The blog at least gives out numerical scores which I respect and so few blog do it recently. As a side note, Musings of a Chunkeemonkeeato gave this show 10 out of 10. The blog skews more fan girl-interest areas than I like but well I am an old man. It is be more weird if I did.

The article itself is not the blog's best work. They start with presenting a schism within the audience regarding the show. However, it never goes into why this phenomenon is happening. Most of the article is spent on laying down small aspects of the show that the author enjoys. However, you can do the same for many baaaaad show. They all have has aspects that specific people like. This does not make the show good. It only makes it not the worst thing to come out of the trashy Korean drama basket.

And I guess that "It’s Okay, It’s Love" is not the worst Korean drama ever. You have Heirs to contend to.

At the core, I do not get what the show is from the article. I am not talking about plot. Talking about what the show is about is not the same as spoilers. I am talking about what are the things that the screen writers and the producers want to say with the show. Is is just a cute fangirl centric show ala "My love from another star"? They is nothing wrong saying out laud what it is.
Is is an attempt to tackle specific themes?
Is it about mental health?

Overall, the article lacks a strong point other than saying that the author likes specific parts of the show. And a collection of enjoyable parts do not equate to understanding what the show is and if we should invest our time going through the early not so great episodes common to most Korean dramas.

I do not want to hate watch.
I do not want to be disappointed.
I have suffered too much already.

This is my opinion about the article. It is not the best work from Musings of a Chunkeemonkeeato. However, no one bats a 1000. I only bet a 200 at most.
I just wish I got more of a feeling of what the show is from the article.

After reading it, I still have no clue.
